Hey everybody! Episode 57 of the show is out. In this episode, I spoke with my friend Deanna Rogers and Dr. Ido Cohen. They work together in the field of integration of plant medicine experiences. Deanna uses her own experiences combined with somatic therapy and the work of Gabor Maté while Ido is a psychologist and uses Jungian archetypes. It was a pleasure to sit and talk with them both. They have a beautiful way of expressing themselves and collectively have a deep, experiential wisdom coming from many years of their own work and working with others. I think you all will really enjoy this episode. As always, to support this podcast, get early access to shows, bonus material, and Q&As, check out my Patreon page below. Enjoy!

"Dr. Ido Cohen, Psy.D - As part of his psychotherapy practice in San Francisco, Ido offers integration and preparation sessions with individuals and groups. Following his interest in eastern spirituality, kabbalah and shamanic traditions, Ido dedicated his doctoral dissertation to a 6 year study of the integration process of Ayahuasca ceremonies, while applying Jungian psychology to better understand how to support individuals in their process of change and transformation. He is also the co-founder of The Integration Circle and facilitates workshops on the different dimensions of integration and the intersection of mental health, spiritual health and the entheogenic experience."
"Deanna has been working with plant medicines for the last decade and with the Temple of the Way of Light since 2013. In this time she has supported hundreds of guests through their medicine journeys and also embarked on her own deep healing with the plants through a traditional study of dieta.
Deanna holds a non-judgmental container and a deeply compassionate space to allow whatever needs to arise, to arise. Her commitment is to help people uncover and work with the root of their illness or condition so that they can live a more connected life. This is led through a process of Inquiry, somatic processing, and a balance of guiding and listening. Her work is deeply influenced by her training with Dr. Gabor Mate and his Compassion Inquiry model, Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing, and through her study with Indigenous Healers in the Amazon. She is currently embarking on her Master of Counseling.
Deanna offers preparation and integration sessions before and after plant medicine experiences to help ground and live the healing journey. Her goal is to empower people to cultivate deep connections to self, to help integrate trauma and align to their path going forward.”
